By the by:  Correlating the [new del.icio.us JSON URL feed][ju] with [Google's recent deprecation of the SOAP Search API][dep] is about as effective as noticing how often the clock reads 12:34 when you just happen to be looking at it.

<p>Also, I think you misuse the word "correlation".</p>

<p>And I think there is a correlation -- both are indicative of a trend in "web services" today.</p>

<p>JSON and YAML are getting more popular in that arena and XML (especially SOAP) is something that a lot of programmers dislike workign with.</p></div>
