As I've\nbeen known to have <a href=\"http://www.decafbad.com/blog.cgi/?q=livejournal\">a mild obsession with LiveJournal</a>, this reminds\nme a lot of the usericons in use there, only distributed\nacross blogspace, which is what I've wanted to see done for a\nlong time.\n</p>\n<p>\nAll the infrastructure of LiveJournal,\nFriendster, and the like could be recast as distributed\nfeeds and metadata, with smarts on blog servers or\npersonal clients.
