# RSS vs HTML - NO FIGHT!

With Syndication is not Publication, Mark Pilgrim elucidates in eloquence what I'd vaguely poked at in silliness. No, I agree with mark - syndication cannot replace publication, and publication cannot replace syndication.

Though, I think it's interesting to watch the thought experiments and the "what ifs" as Anil commented - and while I sense some eloquence in both approaches, neither answers all the demands placed on each. Hopefully, what dabbling in overloading one could provide is a little insight into enhancinging the other. In the end, as Dave commented and Mark demonstrated, there will be no fight - tinkerers will route around the solution they don't like.
