# MTCleanHTMLPlugin has a competitor

Like the <a href="http://www.decafbad.com/twiki/bin/view/Main/MTCleanHTMLPlugin">MTCleanHTMLPlugin</a> I <a href="http://www.decafbad.com/news_archives/000296.phtml#000296">released a little while ago</a>, Brad Choate's new <a href="http://www.bradchoate.com/past/mtsanitize.php">MT Sanitize Plugin</a> appears to do the same job. I haven't tried it yet, but since I'm using a pile of Brad's plugins and have based all of mine upon his examples, I'm assuming it's good stuff. I'll likely check it out and see if I like mine or his better for my own use. :)
<br /><br />
(Oh, and in case anyone wonders, I mean "competitor" in the "there's no competition because his code-fu's likely better than mine here" sense. :) )

<div class="content">OOPS! Well... it doesn't do near what MTCleanHTML does (no attribute handling for one), but this is the first I'm hearing of it. You should have posted a mention of it in the MT Plugin forum. Could have saved me some time! :)</div>

I'll have to take a look at your tonight though - mine's a giant hack I did at 20 minutes after midnight.</div>

Would be nifty if they had a TrackBack ping-able page for plugin announcements, too.</div>

<div class="content">Long ago when I was developing the resource page, I assumed it would be a TB pingable resource. Brad Choate suggested it again recently (most likely because I really need to get on the ball and update that more frequently :) ) As soon as I have time, I'm going to do that.</div>
