# Beware the fink update-all

<p>Ahh, the joys of <a href="http://fink.sourceforge.net/news/jaguar.php">upgrading Fink for OS 10.2</a>.  I started it Monday morning on both my iBook and the dual G4 450 I have at work, and they're both still going at it.</p>

            <div class="content">I have to admit to always wussing out and just using apt-get or dselect.  Other than fink's core package, I've never "given" it the time to compile anything else.</div>
