# More visitors come calling

<p>Oh, and <a href="http://mail.bitsko.slc.ut.us:81/cgi-bin/ken/wiki/FrontPage">Ken <span style='background : #FFFFCE;'><a href="http://www.decafbad.com/twiki/bin/edit/Main/MacLeod?topicparent=Main.FilterData"><b>?</b></a><font color="#0000FF">MacLeod</font></span></a> was another visitor to my <a href="http://www.blogchat.com">blogchat</a> today. Along with <a href="http://www.decafbad.com/news_archives/000102.shtml#000102">humoring</a> some of my <a href="http://www.decafbad.com/twiki/bin/view/Main/REST">REST</a>ian musings (which I think I understand much better now, thanks), he'd <a href="http://www.decafbad.com/news_archives/000112.shtml#000112">observed the multiple links back</a> to the same blog entries awhile back. We chatted a bit about the linkback thing and the scalability of <a href="http://mail.bitsko.slc.ut.us:81/cgi-bin/ken/wiki/BlogVersation">BlogVersations</a>. Talked a little about the robot link detective I just babbled about.</p>
<p>Also, he pointed me to <a href="http://www.eekim.com/software/purple/purple.html">Purple</a>, which appears to be an decent system to use for arbitrary mid-document linking in a blogspace lacking universal XHTML and XLink adoption. This means something, too.</p>
<p>Time to go home.</p>
