# Why I have a blog on the front page of 0xDECAFBAD

I know everyone else in the world has blogged and linked to these, but:

<a href="http://www.pcmag.com/article/0,2997,s%253D1493%2526a%253D21865,00.asp">John C Dvorak</a> slammed and trivialized this.  <a href="http://radio.weblogs.com/0101679/stories/2002/03/13/manufacturedSerendipity.html">Sam Ruby</a> explains why I've got a weblog on this front page, and what I eventually hope it does for me as I make this place worth visiting.
